Ron Paul at the Fox Republican Debate 9/05/07

As a side note: It is a surreal experience watching Chris Wallace and Brit Hume "moderate" this "debate." Their voices practically drip with sarcasm and condecension when addressing questions to Ron Paul. Also, you can't see who it is, but notice that some of the Fox questioners (or is it the other candidates?) begin snickering and cackling inanely into live microphones every time Rep. Paul is asked a question. Journalists, or propagandists? You decide.

Huckabee states; "Even if we lose elections, we should not lose our honor, and that is more important for the Republican Party." This is an exact replica of Nixon's 'Peace With Honor" theme through the early 70s, when American kids continued to die for a hollow wrong-headed war, and now we're looking at the same thing. Never admit you were hoodwinked, better to keep sacrificing other Americans' kids.

Ron Paul is the only libertarian in this race and as such he is being treated like garbage by his fascist Republican colleagues. Remember when being conservative meant being a libertarian? No longer. Republicans are theocratic fascists, not conservatives. They are whores to big business and have no qualms about throwing more working class American kids under the wheels of the train to make the globe safe for American investments.
